Terms

Terms of service

Effective October 30, 2026

These terms are an agreement between BCD Labs, LLC (“we”) and you, and the church you use Parsonage for. By creating an account or using Parsonage you agree to them. If you use Parsonage for a church, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for it.

Your account

Keep your password private and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account. A church’s owners decide who is on its team and what role each person has.

Your church’s records

Your church owns the records it puts into Parsonage. You give us permission to store, process, and display them only as needed to run the service for you, as described in our privacy policy. You can export them at any time, and an owner can delete them.

Your church is responsible for having the right to record the information it enters, for treating sensitive information about people with care, and for following the laws that apply to it, including laws about privacy and about sending email.

Acceptable use

Do not use Parsonage to:

  • send spam, or email people who have not agreed to hear from your church;
  • harass, threaten, or harm anyone, or store content that is unlawful;
  • try to reach another church’s records, get around limits or security, or disrupt the service;
  • resell Parsonage or use it to build a competing product.

We may suspend sending, or an account, to stop misuse or protect other churches. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you first and help you put things right.

Plans and payment

Plans are priced by the number of people in your church’s directory, as shown on our pricing page. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renew until cancelled. A church owner can change or cancel the plan at any time from Billing. We consider refund requests case by case, and always give any refund the law where you are requires. If we change prices, we will tell church owners at least 30 days before the change applies to them.

The service

We work to keep Parsonage available, secure, and backed up, and we will keep improving it. We may change features over time, but we will not remove your ability to export your records. Parsonage is provided “as is”: to the extent the law allows, we make no promises beyond those in these terms.

Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim relating to Parsonage is limited to the amount your church paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Ending

You may stop using Parsonage at any time; an owner can delete the church, and you can close your account. We may end these terms for serious or repeated breaches. If we ever stop offering Parsonage, we will give church owners at least 60 days’ notice to export their records.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will update the date above, and for significant changes we will tell church owners by email before they take effect. Continuing to use Parsonage after that means you accept the new terms.
